PhD, Latin American Literature and Cultural Studies

Instructional Designer

For over fifteen years as a college lecturer, my job has been to select, read, analyze, write, edit, and teach stories. One of the best parts of the job is to watch my students apply the theories of literature and cultural studies that I teach them to various texts and contexts. As a teacher, I’ve been always a big fan of offering tools for interpreting any cultural constellation beyond the literary field.

I bring that experience into the Instructional Design profession by combining my academic background with my experience in the private sector, both in market research and as a corporate trainer.

Beyond teaching, researching, and training, my experience also includes curriculum design, project management for educational programs, editorial work for professional journals, and language and cultural translation (English/Spanish/French).

I have conducted interdisciplinary research on pop culture, cosmopolitanism, cultural migrations, and consumerism, and published articles in specialized journals and books.

Born in Argentina, I lived in Buenos Aires, Paris (France), and in several cities across the United States. Since 2013 I live in San Diego, California.
